We had a sensational evening at Hereford Cathedral enjoying opera arias, a perfect after a cozy stay with our dog. The location is ideal, right near the river and town, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
My kids wished there were more family-friendly dining options nearby.

do recommend for a couple of nights
Comfortable room, excellent breakfast, the room in the main house was lovely and very clean, with the added convenience of off-site car parking and a flat-screen TV for entertainment.
No complaints whatsoever.

Perfect location with a cozy vibe
Had a lovely stay! The room was spacious and super clean, and the staff were just fantastic—really warm and welcoming. Breakfast was made to order, and I totally recommend the Herefordshire apple juice! Just a note, there were some seating issues during breakfast one morning, which caused a bit of a wait.

pleasant stay, but lacking in additional amenities
The breakfast options were impressive, catering to various tastes while being freshly prepared each morning. We thoroughly enjoyed the warm underfloor heating in the bathroom, offering an added layer of comfort during our stay.
The spa and wellness facilities were minimal, leaving us wanting more relaxation options within the hotel.

would stay here again and again
The spacious Junior Suite was super comfy with a nice flat-screen TV, private bathroom, and fresh toiletries. Loved the walk-in shower and the fridge in the room! Breakfast was amazing with freshly cooked options, and we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere while overlooking the duck pond.

The homemade ice cream at the bar was absolutely lush! The large room came with complimentary nibbles that were the cherry on top. Plus, the easy access to town meant I could stroll to nearby gems like Jalsagor for a proper feast.
While I loved the cozy vibe, the blaring green fire exit light was a bit much for a good night's kip. And the breakfast staff could do with a tad more attentiveness instead of fumbling about.

I stayed in a Junior Suite, and it was surprisingly spacious and comfy. Loved the little touches, like the basket of local treats and the luxurious toiletries. The view of the river and garden was a definite highlight! Had a great sleep but had a bit of noise from the street below. a really nice place to unwind.

I enjoyed staying at the Castle House Hotel for two nights. The room was beautiful, clean, and well-appointed. I loved the underfloor heating in the bathroom. The staff were friendly and eager to help. Breakfast options were excellent, freshly prepared, and the local products were a nice touch. The location was perfect for exploring Hereford Cathedral and nearby attractions. I faced a couple of issues. No evening meals were available on certain days, which was surprising. Breakfast lacked variety on specific mornings, and I had to ask for items that should have been on the menu. I was pleased but would have liked more dining options.

A lovely find with a beautiful conservatory overlooking the river, where breakfast was superb and served with care. The Junior Suite provided breathtaking views and charming details like a basket of regional treats. Convenient free parking right behind the property is a nice touch, but be aware that dinner isn’t offered, so plan accordingly.

Exceptional Experience in a Quiet Retreat
My recent stay for business was rejuvenating. The spacious Compact Townhouse Double was perfect, allowing for restful sleep. The breakfast service impressed on the first day, especially the Shashuka. communication issues during the second breakfast were frustrating. Future guests should express any time constraints early.
